Frequently Asked Questions
What type of surface is right for me?
We specialize in acrylic court resurfacing, which are some of the most commonly used courts due to their durability and low maintenance. Additionally, we offer premium cushioned court installation. This option is designed to minimize shock on the body and provide a more comfortable playing surface so you can Dink All Day!
How do I know when my court needs to be resurfaced?
When a court begins to show noticeable wear and tear, color starts to fade, and visible cracks and/or puddles begin to form are all signs that a resurfacing is needed. Proper court maintenance is recommended to avoid these issues and extend the life of your court.
How long does a resurfacing last?
A court lasts 3-5 years on average (depending on court location and weather) with routine maintenance.
What should I do to maintain my court?
Athletic courts, especially outdoor courts, collect dust, dirt and debris. They are subject to constant wear and tear as well as sun fading and harsh weather conditions. We recommend maintaining courts by blowing daily, ensuring that any standing water is blown and dried, and water brooming the court weekly.
Hawaii Pickleball Resurfacing offers a maintenance program which adheres to these standards. We keep your court looking fresh, leaving you more time to play and enjoy your court!
